Dream Scape
Created with Ableton Live and Protools, I aimed for my audience to feel something with this one. By using my own past videos to spark emotion, I hope to spark your own memories as you listen to the Dream Scape I created.
Foley Sound Effects
For a school project, we had to create all of our own sound effects for a movie clip of our choosing. I ended up picking a scene from UP. I had a lot of fun using bizarre objects to create sounds that you wouldn't expect such as a jar of rice or a backpack hitting the ground.
MIDI/Synthesis Sound Effects
This was also a school project where we got to pick a scene and create all of the sound effects for the picture using Ableton Live. It was a lot of fun sampling sounds and editing them to sound completely different than the original.
Best Freind Sound Portrait
I have always been fascinated with the concept of “Best Friends,” and the overall variety of people who are close to you that shape and mold you into the person you become.
For this project, I interviewed four of my new and old best friends. I asked them a variety of questions to hear their opinion on best friends and how close relationships come and go throughout their life. I knew from the start of this project that I wanted to make it nostalgic and give my audience a little insight into the fantastic relationships I have been a part of. In addition, I recorded one of my best friend’s original guitar pieces to serve as background music.
